Bishop Mark Jabalé OSB Bishop Mark died peacefully on 9th May. His funeral will be held at Belmont at 12 noon on Thursday 5th June. May he know eternal happiness with God whom he served. Rt. Rev. Dom Mark Jabalé 10th Bishop of Menevia 10th Abbot of Belmont who died 9th May 2025

Today we celebrate the Feast of Our Holy Father St Benedict, Co-Patron of Europe. We keep all of our family, oblates, benefactors and friends in prayer today and ask your prayers too that we may remain faithful to our monastic vocation and the Rule of St Benedict.

Today is the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, when we honour the love of His wounded and glorious Heart, which induced Jesus to suffer and die for our redemption. Happy Feast Day! 🙏

Ecumenical service celebrating the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicea: Thursday 12th June at 5.30pm at Hereford Cathedral. We are delighted that Archbishop Mark will preach, and preside alongside the Bishop of Hereford. ALL WELCOME

Jubilee Family Day. Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate Jubilee Family Day with us today. Thank you to Archbishop Mark who celebrated our Eucharist and then joined the families in the Abbey Gardens afterwards to Celebrate.

Bishop Mark Jabalé OSB Bishop Mark died peacefully on 9th May. His funeral will be held at Belmont at 12 noon on Thursday 5th June. Bishop Mark served this community well for many years, not least Abbot and before that Headmaster of the School.

Please pray for the Repose of the Soul of Rt Rev Dom Mark Jabalė, 10 Bishop of Menevia, 10th Abbot of Belmont who passed away last night. Funeral arrangements will follow.

There will be a special Mass at Belmont Abbey Church this Thursday 24th April at 11am to pray for Pope Francis as he makes his final journey to the house of the Father. All are welcome. 🙏 Please feel free to share.
