This is a realization I stumbled upon when I was like 24 or so. Shorts are for little boys. If it’s “too hot” wear pants that breath and a nice short sleeve shirt. I just don’t see an excuse to wear shorts as a man unless you’re doing yardwork, working out, or playing a sport.
