That's right. Here's a preview of our silicon pbit results. Huge effort by our team @Extropic_AI. These were recently presented in Paris and submitted to peer review.
The result is their "p-bit" i.e. a physical probabilistic bit. Implemented as a tuneable double-well potential in silicon, it acts as a fractional bit whose state "dances" between 0 and 1. The payoff is unprecedented energy efficiency, generating controllable entropy at just a…
From a physics point of view, what is life?
what’s a good question for someone just getting into questions?
The cope is real.
I find it mildly amusing how mathematicians are currently clinging onto the hope that there is something special about their creativity that AI will not also be able to pull off in a year or two.
Yes the Kardashev scale is a good benchmark because you need to have the intelligence and utilize it strategically to unlock the next tier. It's a measure of civilizational extropy, which is a measure of our degree of organization and coherence; a measure of "aliveness".
What if the Kardashev scale isn’t about measuring how much energy we can burn but about how much unity we can build among ourselves to advance to the next level? History shows that all progress we’ve achieved as humankind has come from unity.
Insanely bullish on this partnership. Both the tech and the joint aura is next level.
Look @ADoricko we're reindustrializing
Every time.
>looking to reindustrialize >ask investor if their reindustrialization portco is software or hardware >investor doesn’t understand, pull out illustrated diagram explaining what is software and what is hardware >investor laughs and says “it’s a good portco sir” >its software
Once you start smelling victory on your main quest it's hard to give a shit about anything else
What did you think Kardashev type 2 Speedrun meant? Vibes? Posts? Essays?

Too bad you sold out for the table scraps they gave you rather than producing clear legible evidenceof fraud for the sincere somewhat serious people who provided ~all funding in EA even after such evidence was abundant AND Fraud had become the sort of thing to autocomplete 'EA'
TFW Elon likes your post but likes are private now so it's just your little secret

With the release of comet, perplexity has turned from a “ask anything” company to a “do anything” company
The perennially appropriate response to cynics and critics: "Fuck you. Watch me."
Normalize maximal effort pursuing your dreams. Effort is not cringe. Performative cynicism is not cool. Going all-in on your mission: short term social pain for long term gain. Feigned nonchalance: short term social gain, long term pain of underachievement.
Cynics are cowards covering their inner weakness with performative detachment
Effort looks “cringe” to people who’ve never risked caring about something.
Cynics always sound smart in the short term but eat their words and are filled with regret from the sidelines when the optimists finally win.
