Our church is happy we have supported @BaptistLeaders and plans are being made for ongoing support for the work you do!
The ERLC’s “stubborn” insistence on ignoring SBC messengers and lobbying for things like amnesty will be “the death of meaningful SBC influence in public life,” warns former ERLC Trustee @jrwhitehead Watch the CBL Report here: youtube.com/live/cqoemlz2P…
Nope, we ARE NOT. The ERLC has become a rogue entity, operating outside of its assigned mission.
Amnesty. Period. Southern Baptists are okay with this?
You are right when you say this is not *an* amnesty. The fact is, it is three amnesties. And the amnesty you support now would allow MS-13 human traffickers to obtain citizenship under future administrations.
The ERLC has never supported amnesty and never will. The ERLC has consistently advocated for policies that reflect the will of SBC messengers who have, for over a decade, supported strong border security and other measures, including a pathway to legal status for those willing…
During a time when @ERLC doubles down on fracturing the SBC, consider supporting an organization with a positive vision of conservative cultural engagement committed to a biblical and Baptist witness.
We exist to bring institutional transformation to the SBC by raising up the next generation of courageous Baptist leaders who refuse to bend under secular pressure or compromise with worldly ideologies. Join our mission today! centerforbaptistleadership.org/donate/
This is an outright lie. That it is coming from a Christian organization that purports to represent Southern Baptists is even more shameful. The bill ERLC is supporting provides amnesty to millions of criminal illegal aliens. Instead of apologizing for supporting amnesty against…

Southern Baptists, get ahold of your pastor right now and tell him you want to be a messenger to the 2026 Convention so you can vote to abolish the ERLC. We need your vote.
🚨 The @ERLC joins with the Soros-funded Evangelical Immigration Table to back yet another “bipartisan” amnesty bill for illegal aliens
Just nine months ago, @ERLC staff promised that they would always ask these seven questions before taking actions. All seven of these questions counseled against signing this letter. But EIT called, and the letter was signed.
The @erlc letter to Congress says biblical convictions make the Dignity Act a "necessary reform." So, not only does the letter go beyond SBC resolutions, it suggests the bill is a necessary result of proper evangelical beliefs.

Does anyone know if the messengers have ever passed a resolution in favor of amnesty? I can’t think of one; therefore, I’m wondering why the @ERLC is supporting a position not held by the messengers.
I’ve had plenty to say about the @ERLC. Now this. This organization must cut ties with the Evangelical Immigration Table. The EIT is (and has for years been) a front for activists who’ve championed reckless immigration policies—policies that have directly contributed to the chaos…
Great discussion here

This is a problem. I don't understand why any Southern Baptist would want a dollar of George Soros money funding one of our entities. Strings. Are. Attached.

I'm not a grievance-peddler, but this is genuinely maddening. The @ERLC has no right to purport to speak for Southern Baptists at large in favor of amnesty or a legal path for citizenship for illegal immigrants! NONE! The audacity and the hubris is staggering.
