I did so much digging on Rich Hill... my favorite notes, a 🧵: 🔷 He ties an MLB record for the most franchises played for (14), matching Edwin Jackson. 🔷 At age 45 years and 133 days, he surpasses Gaylord Perry (45.006) as the oldest player to play in a game for the #Royals.

Rich was an absolute joy to have in Omaha. To have been able to have him with the Storm Chasers for 9 starts and over 40 innings this year is remarkable. He put up good numbers and was incredible in the clubhouse. Excited for his start tonight!
