Congratulations to Dr. Subhash Kulkarni on his promotion to Assistant Professor of Medicine at @harvardmed! Dr. Kulkarni leads the motility research group in investigations of the role of the enteric nervous system in GI motility, cancer, and neurological diseases.

Last month, the @RedSox hosted Celiac Awareness Night at Fenway Park. The Celiac Center's Melinda Dennis & Dan Leffler, along with advocates from celiac centers across Boston, were honored for their work to advance celiac awareness. Congrats on this amazing recognition!💙⚾️

This May, we kicked off the annual Sundaram Scholarship in GI & Hepatology in memory of former @BIDMC_GI fellow & faculty Dr. Vinay Sundaram. We welcomed Dr. Joseph Atarere from @MedStarHealth as the inaugural scholar for a 1-month elective. Thanks for joining us, Dr. Atarere!

Another #DDW2025 highlight: Dr. Yury Popov spoke at AASLD Emerging Topic Conference about immune drivers of PSC-associated cholangiocarcinoma and new generation immunotherapies for this devastating rare cancer. #BeGutsy
