Mostly photos of things.
Kestrels on the roof of a building off University Place in Glasgow. I think these are the two juveniles who fledged from a nearby nest a few weeks ago. At least one adult Kestrel was on the roof of the Boyd Orr building, keeping an eye on these two.

Young Moorhens by the Forth & Clyde canal at Applecross Street, Glasgow.

Back to work today mood. Grey seal at Mill Bay, Rathlin Island.

More romance from the Heron Pond in Bushy Park, London.

Been following Kingston College Peregrines @KPeregrines on here for a couple of years so when I was in west London last week I thought I’d go have a look. Within 5 mins of getting there I’d spotted both adults plus both of this year’s juveniles, ZCT and ZDT.

Adult and juvenile feral Pigeons in colourful surroundings at Kelvinbridge, Glasgow.

Whitethroat, on Fuchsia. Rathlin Island, County Antrim. #birds

Still cutting photos from Rathlin from two weeks ago. The ‘upside down’ west lighthouse and RSPB seabird centre has multiple platforms - birds above, below and at eye-level - and views of the sea-stacks and the colonies on them. Razorbill, Fulmar, Gannet and Guillemots.

A few record shots (good subject, shit photo) from my visit to Rathlin Island. Female Hen Harrier, Common Blue butterfly, Irish Hares, and what *might* just be a Golden Hare - a genetic variant of the Irish Hare found only on Rathlin.

Swallow, over the River Lennon in Ramelton, County Donegal.

Corncrake, latin name Crex crex, Traonach in Irish. Rathlin Island, County Antrim.

Inspired by @BGallagherColl wonderful photographs of grebes at Hogganfield, we have written a wee update about them and how they are thriving at the loch sevenlochs.org/grebes-in-focu…
