Am deeply saddened by the passing of dear friend, former colleague and one of CLE’s greatest sandlot players, Rich Rollins. Proud grad of Parma HS (‘56) & KSU (‘60). Enjoyed 10yr MLB career, final season w/Indians (1961-70). 2X All-Star. A 1989 @GCLESPORTSHOF inductee

5 Days Until our Home Opener and we celebrate Hall of Famer #5 shortstop Lou Boudreau. 7X All-Star was club’s player-manager winning 728 games and the 1948 World Series. His #5 was retired in 1970 - the 2nd uni # retired by CLE (Feller’s #19 retired in 1957). #ForTheLand

6 Days until the 125th Home Opener as a charter member of the American League. We celebrate #6 Rocco Domenico Colavito, generational hero. Premier power hitter of his era, slugged 374 homers and drove in 1159 runs in 14yr career - 8 w/CLE. 6X All-Star. #ForTheLand

One week from today we celebrate our 32nd home opener at Progressive Field. We salute two #7s- franchise all-time greats Al Rosen & Kenny Lofton. Al, a 4X All-Star was 1953 A.L. MVP (43HR/145RBI). Kenny, 6X All-Star/4x Gold Glover, was A.L. steals king 5 straight seasons(92-‘96).
