Daring to be great.
Things got a bit “Juicy” today during the #WilderFury weigh-in show.
A no-holds-barred look at the new Ali Act amendment that would create the conditions for an inevitable TKO/Zuffa Boxing monopoly. The Zuffa Myth all over. It's as ugly as you can imagine. Here's what the Endeavor-flavored US sports media won't discuss. themmadraw.com/p/tko-and-ufc-…

If I could summarize the Ali ‘revival’ Act in a tweet it’s this. - The Ali Act prohibits promoters from having coercive contracts. The ‘revival’ Act says promoters can have all the coercive contracts they want if they create their own titles.
“If that’s the case… take my belt.” - Ilia Topuria when asked about defending his title vs. Arman Tsarukyan 😳 Shots Fired 🚨 @JoseCuervo
It was awesome and a privilege to talk on @morningkombat thanks to @BCampbell & @lthomasnews for the opportunity. Let’s not call the new proposal “The Ali Act” let’s call it what it really is: The Ari Act. #Boxing
I love this fight ...

It really is amazing you’ve got the most powerful promoter in the history of combat sports about to change federal law to entrench their monopoly until some future admin maybe breaks them up and yet there are dumbfucks rolling around with “this is about having more CHOICE!”
TKO doesn't just plan to lock down boxers to UFC-style contracts, they plan to put up barriers that will make it financially difficult for other promotions to meet federally mandated criteria, should the bill pass. There's so much to unpack in this amendment. (cont.)

They don’t want to “fix” boxing. They want to *own* it and they’re using the present orgy of deregulation to do it. They might destroy some of the parts you don’t like, but they’ll also destroy the parts important for its long-term vitality and athlete protection.
What have I been saying all along? This is the play, this is the story. The fights have served as a background to the real story. UFC fighters have sued the UFC and fled their model to make more money in #Boxing and the fighters who wanted to be overpaid by Turki….
Fun fact - The ABC never consulted with the Athletes Voice Committee about the Muhammad Ali American Boxing Revival Act. They are telling the world that the ABC board is in “unanimous support” of it. Athletes NOT CONSULTED.
"Unified boxing organizations" = the only way to fight for our title is to be contractually obligated to us. This contradicts the spirit behind the creation of the Ali Act. If UBO's are closed entities, they can't honestly claim to promote world champions. jack.house.gov/sites/evo-subs…

Should Dana White still offer Jon Jones the opportunity to fight at the White House in 2026?
