The team had a busy June, responding to just over 100 incidents. The team have now responded to >300 incidents in Q1! Helping @SCAS999 where they can by enabling #enhancedcare delivery to those who need it most. Only possible thanks to @scacharity and @HelipadHELP

Tonight was our summer team and family (Our number ONE supporters!) evening home made pizza and a small shandy soiree hosted by @SCASBASICSER201 and lets just say there are no photos! #TeamWelfare

Turns out my @SnowsVolvo V90 Cross Country is actually quite good off road (Every Scandinavian emergency service can't be wrong!) Did eventually get too narrow but saved a fair bit of walking (Still 6000 steps though) Rural responding life @BASICS_SCAS @BASICS_HQ @SafeResponse

SCAS BASICS new Unit ER102 (Purchased through a grant from @HelipadHELP Via @BASICS_HQ & conversion by @scacharity) has been continuing to get out & about in the lovely weather here in Tropical Hampshire! In the few months we have had it operational it has been to 128 Incidents!

Still busy at SCAS BASIS & turns out it's not just @SCASBASICSER201 thats a regular helicopter botherer (!) with ER101 our @scacharity funded Volvo Response Car crewed by Jakub providing some clear evidence of more excellent joint working in Hampshire with the team from @HIOWAA

Averaging 80-90 responses a month (But the last 2 months have exceeded 100!) A likely cause of the nice weather causing a high volume of high acuity demand & the time put in by our volunteer responders we have ALREADY hit 100 responses in July! @HelipadHELP @SCAS999 @scacharity

More excellent joint working today with the as ever superb Critical Care team from @HIOWAA in a very remote spot of farmland. They flew in, I had to walk from the nearest road with a load of kit! Bet I got the most Steps in! #ResponderFitness

Thanks to the excellent @HIOWAA duel crewed CCP car & Helimed 056 Critical Care teams today for their back up today at a Major Trauma whilst @SCASBASICSER201 was responding for @BASICS_SCAS today. Now you see the helicopter and now you don't! @HelipadHELP @scacharity @SCAS999

🚁 Big news! The keys have officially been handed over and work has begun on #Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance's new airbase and HQ near #Southampton Airport! Thanks to our amazing supporters, the HELP Appeal proudly donated £300,000 towards the relocation.

Probably due to the "Summer" weather (Used to happen every summer but now apparently due to media hype has to be a "Heatwave" every time the ☀️comes out! 🙄) & other regional factors amazingly ER201 has taken on 28 responses for @BASICS_SCAS @SCAS999 @scacharity this week!

Saw other @BASICS_HQ schemes posting "Whats in my Boot" photos. At @BASICS_SCAS through hard graft & kind people we are very well equipped meaning that even in my huge Volvo V90 Cross Country there's barely room for a small "Meal Deal" lunch much less the household weekly shop!😀
