Told Michele I think I want a Father Brown day today, and I think that's what we're going to do. We already watched all but one of the episodes of volume one of the 1970s Father Brown Series. We've still got volume two.
Real human art has real style. AI slop is often a mish-mash of styles.
Hey, artists! Here's a "what makes your style yours?" art share. Share your art in the quote-posted thread and say something about what makes it yours.
Sunday #artshare 🎉 Artists, what makes your style yours? ☺️ It is so important to me that I have a balance of comic and painterly visuals in my art. I love line art, but I also love textured rendering too. Putting them together makes for something really unique #artmoots
IMHO, the original Godzilla/Gojira remains the best, and remains my favorite (although Minus One is pretty darned close).

In case you missed my latest art share thread...
Apparently, some AI bros claim human artists are "low tier" and "unimaginative". Oh, really? How about we show those fools just how wrong they are? C'mon, artists, let's do an art share, the more imaginative the art, the better! Share your most imaginative art in the comments.
Re-sharing to boost the signal about the TeePublic sale...

Check out this thread busting some common misconceptions regarding the medieval period. It's worth perusing.
Unless you take the time to study medieval times or listen to educators, it may be easy to believe all the misconceptions about the Middle Ages that movies and video games throw at us. These are the top 10 medieval misconceptions I see in popular media. Do you believe them?🧵
Here's an item in my Azure Lion Productions Zazzle Store that could use a little more love and attention: Medieval Boar Hunt Mouse Pad. zazzle.com/medieval_boar_… via @zazzle This work was inspired by a period hunting hound design on a medieval tile.
Ambulate over my threshold, down the sidewalk, and away from my domicile.
Making myself a plant-based fish filet sandwich (I've developed a bad gastrointestinal reaction to eating real fish), I've realized AI "art" is to human-made art as a plant-based fish filet is to a real fish filet — a rather bland and tasteless substitute.
I've developed a unique and even quirky art style. I've yet to see AI art that captures that same uniqueness and quirkiness. Why WOULD I adopt generative AI and destroy what makes my art special/ That makes no sense whatsoever.
One more thing...you AI bros are the same goddamned assholes who are gleefully predicting the demise of career artists still doing art the old fashioned way. Why SHOULDN'T career artists hate your fucking guts and hate the generative AI you keep trying to shove down our throats?

Once I realized generative AI is basically a huge IP thieving machine, I grew to hate it. As a multi-talented creative (writer/poet and visual artist/illustrator), steal from me, I WILL hate you. I will hate you forever. Hope I made myself crystal clear.
