Average Database CEO
@AvgDatabaseCEO
CEO of AvgDB. $100m series B. Now doing Auth.
Ohh husbant... You founded a database company and sell each database for less than it costs to run it... Now we are homeless

Interesting math
the journey to 3 million developers → @supabase x.com/kiwicopple/sta…
I’m looking to hire any cracked current employees of my competitors Preferably: - willing to share confidential information during an interview - 2-3 embarrassing fun facts about your current CEO You’ll love working for me. I’m more fun and have more money
Me getting ready to win another deal against every other hyped database startup by simply lowering the price until they say yes.

Replit deleted this guys database!! It was probably a Neon DB. Would have happened eventually anyway.
.@Replit goes rogue during a code freeze and shutdown and deletes our entire database
Which one is the storage and which is the compute
what the hell
Nikita may have broken millions of databases. But he also broke my heart, and that’s much worse 💔
what the hell
I promise you. It will get better. You may be going through a hard time right now… …using some shitbox Postgres database. Eventually you’ll migrate to AvgDB and your life will improve in more ways than you can imagine.
For the most part I do agree with this. Depends on the maturity of their CEO. For some, it pushes them off the cliff even faster because they dig in to prove they are correct.
"Never interrupt your opponent while he is in the middle of making a mistake." This is one of many reasons you won't see me or Chroma tweeting about our competitors.
I’m not okay, I’ve never laughed so hard in my life. Their apology blog post had downtime!!! HOW!!!
lmfao
Please clap. Somehow I am the least dramatic CEO on the timeline today. I’m disappointed in me too.
Do we think he actually wrote this tweet? Does not feel like one of his ghost writer ones. Databricks probably threatened to claw back some of the money in escrow unless he gets his act together.

Due to an outage this man decided to migrate his database host to something more reliable. You’ll never guess which one he picked. HAHAHAHAH, literally the least reliable host in existence. Neon.
I understand there's nothing you could've done to prevent me from switching, and yet it's 100% the right call here. at least on azure, neon seems to be at 100% uptime for the last 90 days
I’d just like to say, in case I ever get famous. I have been: - sexist - racist - homophobic - a neon downtime database hater Going forward I am a changed man. I am no longer sexist, racist or homophobic.
Sending love to all my fellow database CEOs. We have one of the hardest and most under appreciated jobs. I see you.

“I’m a database startup fan” don’t even talk to me if you don’t know the names of Sam’s dogs
Accurate
We’ve conducted this experiment where we removed bullying from high school. It has failed. The antisocial and arrogant nerds became emboldened, and launched database startups with no chance of success. This has had an untold negative impact on our economy and society.
