I imagine this is a redo of the Trump 1 wage prioritization lottery rule. If I remember right, this was litigated because it violates the plain text of the INA. Will be interesting to see how they analyze that this time. More on the Trump 1 rule: uscis.gov/archive/uscis-…

I’m going to start an email bulletin like the visa bulletin so that people can check their priority date and estimate when I might get back to them.

that's exactly what this is. Use AI to find H-1B "revocations" and issue NTAs without regard to the fact that those revocations were simply due to a withdrawal and without regard for the 60-day grace period.
Insane we’ve had to bring these, but the possible repercussions of USCIS’ mistake are huge.
Filed a 2nd suit challenging the APPROVAL of a green card because @USCIS approved in error, and now USCIS will rescind it, leaving the client with no status by no fault of theirs. You can't make this up. #Litigation #AOS If you got a green card when your visa wasn't current, I…
Looking into processing times for an #AOSDelay lawsuit I am drafting. TSC keeps getting worse and worse!

We also have a report that an H-1B transfer filed during the 60-day grace period was approved after an NTA was issued.
*** NTA GOOD News *** At least one community member has reported their recently issued NTA was terminated. They are just waiting for the immigration judge to sign. #immigration #nta
I mean, this is objectively funny in light of recent DOS policies surrounding speech and visa revocations involving speech.
In Europe, thousands are being convicted for the crime of criticizing their own governments. This Orwellian message won't fool the United States. Censorship is not freedom.
AILA conference tip from @AttyStevenBrown: "I tell my clients to have one social media, it's Truth Social, and follow only Donald Trump and Stephen Miller." No one knows this, but immigration attorneys surprisingly have healthy senses of humor.

It's not nothing-$250 for a family of four would mean paying $1000 on top of the other visa fees (minimum $185 per person). The $250 won't deter someone who plans to overstay, but will make legitimate tourists think twice, which further hurts the US tourism industry
It’s a refundable fee, provided you comply with the terms of your visa and depart the United States before your legal status expires. Visa Waiver Program countries—like most of Europe and Canada—are exempt from this (which is where most tourists come from). People like this make…
A regulatory notice doesn't offer details on the proposal, but under the first Trump admin DHS issued a rule that would have based prioritzed selection of H-1B petitions based on wage levels news.bloomberglaw.com/daily-labor-re…
This was a fun one to come up with! Did you know the nonimmigrant visas go A-V (and there was a proposed W visa?). .@immigrationgirl and I do our nonimmigrant ABCs in this week's @VisaVibes and give a overview on what they are for! Which one do you find most interesting?

The 60 day grace period for non-immigrant workers page of @USCIS has now been "archived." Perhaps USCIS does not know that this is NOT how one changes rules. But, it does lead to the Chaos that @USCISDirector wants. uscis.gov/archive/option…
.@immigrationgirl has put together a helpful letter writing campaign on this topic on the @rnlawgroup blog. Consider doing your part to help raise awareness on the improper NTAs. rnlawgroup.com/holding-uscis-…
Yes. We’ve seen about a dozen we’ve talked to. All filed something within their grace period, all had the company withdraw the H-1B, and USCIS (not ICE) interpreted it as out of status and unlawfully present. We did a video on it. youtube.com/live/E7QBCs9w4…
This is why I run around with I-9s at all events and with my friends. Gotta be sure! What a moronic stance by Tuberville
Republicans don't care about the rights of US citizens. They do not. They only care about deportations.
Remember, @PabloReports and @MigrantInsider asked representatives yesterday about citizens being detained by ICE, and they either didn’t care or were nonchalant about this issue. Hope this man gets a fat check from the government.
US Citizen detained by ICE: Clearly it didn't matter that I was a citizen, or a veteran, or that I identified who I was. They ignored everything I said, and they just they broke my window and they dragged me out. I let them know that I was a veteran and I wasn't doing anything…
