The Moving Atlanta Forward Bond 2.0 Artist Roster is now re-open for applications. The OCA is prequalifying artist for upcoming public art commissions funded through the Moving Atlanta Forward Infrastructure Bond 2.0. Public Art commissions will range from $2,000 to $100,000.



Afro Futurism and Ancestry, now on view at Gallery 72, features the visionary works of acclaimed artist Steve R. Allen. Experience a powerful fusion of heritage, imagination, and future-forward storytelling through art, in the heart of downtown. On view through September 5.

Today, we commemorate Juneteenth, the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States. The City of Atlanta's administrative offices will be closed in observance of the Juneteenth federal holiday. We will reopen on Friday, June 20th.
The OCA has recently completed conservation work on The Monument to Woodrow Wilson, a historic plaque first dedicated in 1924. Nestled in the Wilson Park Triangle at East Morningside Drive and Rock Spring Road, the monument is a living memorial to President Wilson.

The Mayor's Office of Cultural Affairs is excited to announce that Jonathan Imafidor has been awarded the West Cascade Sculpture public art commission. This sculpture will celebrate the vibrant history and enduring spirit of one of Atlanta’s most storied neighborhoods.
