No, you didn’t turn out fine after being disciplined with a belt and other objects your whole childhood. You have issues with sleep, perfectionism, trust, and emotional regulation.
Insecurity is not a character flaw, but that seems to be how ppl often use it. It’s the acknowledgement that you don’t feel safe and are perceiving a threat and we have to stop meeting it with shame so that we can understand what it’s telling us.

Frontal lobe development is one thing but on a deeper more spiritual level… everyone in life will experience an ego death and the timing of it is above you.
Think we underestimate how often ppl suffer from a savior complex as to the reason why they deal with chaotic ppl. “Saving them” makes them feel a sense of worthiness.
Working with the moon allows one to develop an inner stillness/resilience to handle life’s natural challenges. The stillness is more within than external bc life can just be unpredictable at times. We can’t control that.
I wish more ppl realized that a child does not have to act out or get bad grades to need support. So many kids who are considered well-behaved fly under the radar and then lose it when they become adults.
