Peggy Whitson
@AstroPeggy
Doctorate in Biochemistry, Axiom Space and former NASA Astronaut, 1st female Space Station Commander. Do your best, be positive, and dream BIG!
During our 320 orbits of Earth, our Ax-4 crew was able to work on over 60 research activities including reduction of DNA damage from cosmic rays to spaceflight induced visual impairment and brain adaptation to microgravity.

I snapped this photo on the @Space_Station just a few days ago. The solar arrays are not only beautiful, but an incredible display of engineering.

At @Axiom_Space, we've embraced the Indian tradition of "Milni" -- meaning a union of families. It was my ultimate honor to reunite with @AstroPeggy, Shux, @astro_slawosz , and Tibor after their successful #Ax4 Mission. 🇺🇸 🇭🇺 🇮🇳 🇵🇱
Enjoying our last few days on the @Space_Station with rehydrated shrimp cocktails and good company! #Ax4

They say you live with your choices…well, we certainly are doing just that! @AstroPeggy was on the astronaut selection committee that selected me in 2013, and I was on the selection committee that selected @Astro_Ayers in 2021. Now, we all are living and working together aboard…
Our crew has adjusted well to microgravity! We are in high spirits and enjoying life on the Space Station. #Ax4

Every moment in the cupola feels like a gift, it's hands down the most stunning view in the universe!

Mail call! I got a special surprise today on the @Space_Station! #Ax4

Beautiful shot of our launch vehicle waiting patiently to take us to space. #Ax4

Being on Earth a little longer than planned means that I get to see my family one more time (even if it's only from across the street)! #Ax4

.@NASA, @Axiom_Space, and @SpaceX are reviewing launch opportunities no earlier than Thursday, June 19, for the fourth private astronaut mission to the International Space Station, Axiom Mission 4. nasa.gov/blogs/spacesta…
