Lawyers are expensive, but *looking* like you have a lawyer is free. Today, I'm happy to announce my latest project, Heavyweight! Heavyweight lets you take any complaint you have, and make it look like a scary legal document without ever actually claiming to be from a lawyer.
Congrats @YangFanYun and @KicksCharlie !!
The way agents use the internet is broken. They don't have access to your accounts, they're blocked on half of all websites, & they take hours to set up. Today, we're introducing @CompositeAI - the agent that connects to your browser to automate your mundane tasks.
Congrats Michael!!
Update: I joined @AnthropicAI to lead AI for State & Local Government! aka making government better with Claude :) Last year I met 20K+ voters running for office in SF. One of those was @DanielaAmodei, President & co-founder of Anthropic 🧵
Congrats @humford !!
I'm joining @eriktorenberg at @a16z on the new media team. Our mission: curate the most important conversations in technology (via podcasts, writing, and group chats), capture our world as it transforms, and write the history of the future in advance. If that compels you, DM me.

Time to help the defenders!
New from our security teams: Our AI agent Big Sleep helped us detect and foil an imminent exploit. We believe this is a first for an AI agent - definitely not the last - giving cybersecurity defenders new tools to stop threats before they’re widespread.
Incredibly excited to share that Cognition is acquiring Windsurf. What an insane weekend - from first call after 5pm on Friday to a signed definitive agreement this morning. There’s a lot to build!
Cognition has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Windsurf. The acquisition includes Windsurf’s IP, product, trademark and brand, and strong business. Above all, it includes Windsurf’s world-class people, whom we’re privileged to welcome to our team. We are also honoring…
Thought provoking piece! curious to see how professional representation or collective bargaining ends up looking like for top AI talent.

completely unacceptable behavior by @cluely. As a long time advocate for open source software, I know of the real tension between vc-backed startups and the OSS / research community. Weaponizing the DMCA against security researchers makes this worse. we need to do better
Update: @cluely filed a DMCA takedown for my tweet about their system prompt, alleging that it contained "proprietary source code" Making legal threats against security researchers is not a good look, and I encourage Cluely to reflect on this and open doors to researchers. 🧵

I reverse engineered @cluely – and their desktop source code exposes their entire system prompts and models used. What's inside? 🧵
Thank you Dean Treanor for your leadership. I owe so much to my experience at @GeorgetownLaw, and I'm proud of the entire community for its commitment to justice, public service, and serving our country.
A Farewell Message from Dean William M. Treanor 💙

Excited to share I have joined the eclectic team at @Lux_Capital. Grateful for my time at Cerebras with Andrew and a team who showed me the vision, grit, and adaptability it takes to build a generational AI semiconductor company. The same curiosity that drew me from the Senate…
