Alright team, I think I'll close out my independent audit of Oryx's work with a "meta-analysis" - a review of my five reviews so far to determine what this tells us about their reliability as a source on this war. By this point the data set's big enough to draw conclusions.
I'll never understand how this group follows this war so closely but doesn't admit the true scale of how critical the current situation is. Are you deceiving your followers to maintain a narrative, is it subconscious bias towards Ukraine, or are you just genuinely uninformed? 1.…
Perspective. This is the map from the end of Ukraine's counteroffensive at the end of 2022, vs now in July 2025. The dark red line is now, the lighter one was then. Look at the macro picture. We often have people in our replies going "You're reporting Ukraine losing village…
A selection of maps showing the developing Russian turning maneuver north of Pokrovsk, as well as recent gains. They're now oriented on Dobropolia (red box), which is twenty kilometers north of Pokrovsk and actually halfway to the Kharkov oblast border from there.
Need a few days for the situation to clarify but it seems like the front north of Pokrovsk has basically come apart for Ukraine. Russian groups are getting deep in the rear on at least half a dozen axes. August might bring a deluge.
Sobering up is always painful. I wonder why they called the situation around Pokrovsk catastrophic. In the video, we see a Russian drone flying directly over the city center, fully monitoring Russian recon-sabotage units as they hunt down members of the Kiev forces.
Following recent developments around Pokrovsk, Ukrainian source Deepstate is now characterising the overall Ukrainian manpower situation as "catastrophic".
Good night, folks. :D
St. Alietie is one of the first armed sisters who stood and fought against the bandits. Her determination to bring peace, justice, balance and harmony leaded the nuns to pick up arms.
🇺🇦🇷🇺 Russians experiment with the north Korean Type 75 MLRS, with the plans to add this small rocket launchers on a ground drone. Which can drive up close to a trench and unload the missiles.
Huh.
BREAKING: Jeffrey Epstein’s attorney, Roy Black, has died.
Almost as if Russian high command knew what it was doing in going to attritional warfare
Russians and Americans are living in inverted timelines US social trust last peaked in the 1990s and is now in free fall, with MAGA as the last gasp Russia hit rock bottom in the '90s -- and it’s been rebuilding ever since. One's falling, the other's rising
I hope the Ukrainian people have learned who their real enemy is. Maybe they've known for a while but the regime is your enemy, they take sons, fathers, brothers and don't even give the families the closure of knowing they've been killed on the battlefield. They and everyone…
If the AFU can't hold Pokrovsk they can't hold anywhere. They turned that city into their main effort last year and poured a huge number of troops - including prestige units - in to make their stand. All of those fat brigades are now being reported as skeleton units by the way.
The whole southern front looks like it’s about to rip. Manpower shortages are manifesting in local collapses across the front. With how bad the situation is around Pokrovsk It’s only a matter of time before it is swallowed.
It's revealing that @TheEconomist, @WSJ & other Western media, which propagated fake narrative of Zelensky as greatest liberal democrat & new Churchill, notice that he is petty dictator only after he went after US-backed anti-corruption agency in Ukraine.
Zelensky's-controlled parliament rubberstamps overnight law putting US-created anti-corruption agencies in Ukraine under his control: "Ukrainian lawmakers vote to scuttle independence of anti-corruption agencies. The EU says it is “concerned” about the Kyiv parliament passing the…
The fall of Pokrovsk signifies the exhaustion of Ukraine’s drone network. Four months ago, I wrote about the massive Ukrainian mobilization that filled the skies over Pokrovsk with hundreds of drones, promising to turn the city into a formidable bastion of resistance:…
You cheered the fall of Assad
I just watched a horrific video of a Syrian terrorist cutting the heart out of a Druze civilian as he was alive and defenseless! I’m not going to link it here. It made me sick to my stomach. What’s being done to these people is unimaginable. Meanwhile, our envoy, Barrack,…
"I don't care about over a million men dying, the rest being hunted down like stray dogs, prosecuting political opponents, or persecuting the church. Going after the "anti-corruption" ngo is TOO FAR" - totally not paid protestor and/or retarded student protestor
Nobody cares about anti-corruption agencies enough to attend a rally over the matter... which means this is the usual Davos Regime NGOs mobilizing the troops, much like we saw in Georgia recently. But to give credit where it's due, I can't think of a better regime to protest!
It's almost a flex at this point. Did Kellogg think he and his entourage were actually maintaining OPSEC?
So Kellogg visited weapon production facilities in Ukraine and Russia tracked his movements and then destroyed them all after he left Ukraine. Incredible the naivety of the Americans, once again.
AFP reports that its reporters (one text freelancer, three photographers and six video freelancers) still on-site in Gaza are currently dying from hunger. They write: "Since AFP was founded in August 1944, we have lost journalists in conflicts, we have had wounded and prisoners…
I, for one, welcome Mr. Theiner (@noclador) to the Z coalition. It's really quite cozy over here.
Things are so bad in Ukraine that even its most ardent supporters are starting to call for no more aid to Zelensky's corrupt junta.
Why? Did we have an economic downturn lately that would necessitate a rate cut at the Fed? Is Trump implicitly claiming the economy has declined under his stewardship? Or is this simply an attempt to throw more smoke grenades to get the public's attention away from Epstein?
.@SecScottBessent: "The Fed has had big mission creep and that's where a lot of the spending is going... and I think they got to stay in their lane... they should be cutting rates now." @POTUS: "It's inconceivable... that they can be spending $2.7B to build a building."
