Clearly something has been cooked and is about to be served. This deal has been progressing for a while behind the scenes.

There is a genuine chance that Chelsea will recoup almost £250 million in player sales this summer. Clearly this isn’t profit and some of the outgoings will be rectifying poor transfers in the first place, but it’s still a very impressive feat.

Clever “news release” from Chelsea. Clearly we don’t ‘want’ to sell Jackson but if someone offers us crazy money, we take it. Win win. If we keep him he can fight for his place and iron out his deficiencies and if we sell him we make close to a £50 million profit.

After the season we have had, it’s good to know that Chelsea will be spending their entire pre season at Cobham and only playing behind closed door friendlies and two at SB. With new signings and a busy season ahead, the last thing we needed was any more travel or distractions.
