How can emergent embodied views of the mind inform our understanding of cognitive evolution? To me, while embodied accounts show promise, they must do more. E.g.,They need clearer accounts of how bodily features shape mental capacities across species and developmental stages.
Participating to this conference has been so exciting. I gave a talk on embodied cognitive evolution, its promise and limitations. Ended up exchanging perspectives on many different topics and approaches, from mathematical models to the biology and ethology of emergence. A blast!

It has been a long time since I have felt so involved with a specialist book. This collection of essays is excellent and tells more about consciousness than any other book on the subject of consciousness. I enjoyed it very much!

Beautiful event yesterday at Sapienza on the legacy of Frans de Waal. We moved from his work to how to translate it into a greater responsibility towards other living species. It served to give scholars working in Italy a coordination and a direction on this matter.
