Stick-into-dirt black currants. I’ll transplant them in the fall - too close together. the only currant cuttings that died were the ones in warmer, sunnier conditions indoors, despite constant watering. The outdoor pots and direct all did fine!
Has anyone grown non-astringent persimmons? I'm curious how well they do with disease and pest resistance in the northeast. I love eating them, but they feel "weak" - like no natural defenses. Too soft and sweet. But I'd say the same about asian pear, yet it shrugs it all…
