I’m very grateful to the @AEAjournals board for this prize. This article was my job market paper, so it is extra special to me. A special thank you goes to @KiraboJackson, who was the best editor possible for this paper and made its final version so much better.

Sharon was an extraordinary person and a true role model. Her energy was contagious. And so incredibly smart and kind to people around her. She often checked in on me to make sure I am okay. Will miss her a lot 💔
My mother was impossibly cool, incredibly warm, smart, funny, charming, honest and I owe her approximately everything and then some. I am so sad to say she passed away today after a battle with cancer. My heart is broken. som.yale.edu/profile/profes…
