Mike Trout said he’s been dealing with a good amount of soreness, so he’s shut down ramping up to play outfield. There’s no timetable to restart that. He said he’s been feeling the soreness when running the bases and taking swings.
This is starting to become an issue for the Angels. Clearly, Jorge Soler needs to be a full-time DH. He's not playing healthy otherwise. But at this point, it's unclear if/when Mike Trout is going to play outfield again. Until then, he'll DH.

A couple Angels notes: CMO is hoping to do some baseball activity in the next couple of days. Likely need to face some live pitching before returning. Robert Stephenson being transferred to the 60 day was transactional. No setback. But not throwing off a mound yet.
Mike Trout on 1,000 RBI: "It's pretty cool. It takes your teammates to get on base, and after the game, that was one of the things I pointed out. None of this is possible without my teammates. It's been fun." He said Kenley Jansen also spoke up to the team after the win.
Jack Kochanowicz is pitching for the Angels tomorrow. He made just one start in Triple-A after being sent down to work on things.

Chris Taylor said he re-fractured his hand on the diving play in left field last night. Expected to have similar six-week timeline. So hopeful to return at some point in September.
