@BenedettaVai & @LiviaDePicker are leading work package 1 in groundbreaking #research on #inflammation related clinical predictors. They are performing a systematic review and meta-analysis to look at previous results and uncover new insights.
In work package 4, led by Francesco Benedetti & Jennifer Felger, we’re investigating if brain scans can predict how #depression patients respond to anti-inflammatory treatments! By analysing data from three trials, we aim to uncover brain markers linked to #inflammation.
Exciting work ahead with @LamersFemke and @Lombardo_GG leading WP3! They’ll explore how blood biomarkers can predict clinical improvement in #depression after #antiinflammatory treatment through meta-analysis.
New study demonstrates that blocking inflammation can reverse motivational deficits through effects on brain circuits . Check it out: news.emory.edu/stories/2024/0… #depression #mentalhealth #inflammation
