With deep regret, I have today resigned as Leader of the Welsh Conservative Senedd Group. Read my letter below.

Aren’t these things already illegal? Existing laws against harassment, intimidation and physical violence should be enforced properly. We do not want or need laws which criminalise criticism or scrutiny of Islam or Islamic practices.
Protecting believers, not beliefs. For example: bacon pinned to mosque doors, bricks thrown through mosque windows, hijabs being pulled from women’s heads, abuse directed at people because of their religion. All things that have happened to my Muslim constituents.
The chairman of Labour’s “Islamophobia” working group has replied to me. I asked reasonable questions. Is he consulting Muslim Brotherhood affiliates? Is observing facts about the rape gangs “Islamophobic”? I got no answers, but he says he means well, so it will be fine 1/2.
Absolutely ludicrous. For what it’s worth, I have always said, and will continue to say, “fireman”. I await disciplinary proceedings. This case may seem laughable, but it shows how so many of our institutions are poisoned by an extreme ideology. It stops them functioning as…

There’s no justification for 36 more Senedd members. I have always opposed this and make no apologises for doing so.
Call me old fashioned but sitting members of the senedd should be in chamber more than twice a week, have far less holidays , I mean Wales is in crisis and your off until mid September. 36 more grifters about to join the freeloading . Shut the place down. Waste of money
Call me old fashioned, but how about the Civil Service actually uses these offices? There’s been a noticeable drop in productivity since Covid, coinciding with work from home. Just 19% of staff come into this office each day. Since this started, our NHS and public services have…

Labour, Plaid and the Lib Dems are all to blame for today's shocking Welsh NHS waiting times, spending £120 million funding 36 more Senedd members over more doctors and nurses. Shameful.
Whilst there will be exceptions, given most illegal migrants are housed in concentrated areas, I'm sure it is possible for the state to more cheaply bulk purchase clothes (standard items, different sizes) and set up soup kitchens to feed them. I really did mean 'essentials'.
This is a reflection of Senedd ministers’ disgraceful record. Labour and Plaid Cymru separatists could have prioritised our NHS. Instead, they spent £120 million on 36 more Senedd members. The result? Over 10,000 people waiting two years or more for treatment. The people of…

This really angers me. There's not much more I can say. We're constantly told these people are all genuinely fleeing persecution, that they aren't economic migrants or benefits tourists. But when you read a story like this, it's hard to conclude differently. Why are they given…

There was only one thing the public wanted to speak to me about at the Royal Welsh Show today. #SayNoTo36MoreSeneddMembers
Deeply concerned to hear Lis Burnett, Labour Leader of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, apparently threaten to use the standards process against councillors who speak out against her authority's inappropriate and widely unpopular decision to open an aqua park at Cosmeston Lakes.…
There's lots to digest from this report. However, one thing that concerns me is the prospect of giving more powers to Natural Resources Wales, the Senedd's failed environmental regulator. Don't forget, of the top 20 most polluted rivers in Britain, 5 are located in Wales. I've…

It’s with remembering that on the first day of the Royal Welsh we are still waiting to hear if the Welsh Labour Government agree with the U.K. Climate Change Committee’s recommendation to reduce livestock numbers in Wales by 19%. Might also be worth asking Plaid and Lib Dem’s the…
Another Saturday morning spent out speaking to residents in Barry. Yet again, the two main topics that came up were overdevelopment and immigration. Last week, an activist from another party claimed there was no link between the two issues. I disagree strongly. And from the…

Many don’t understand how Labour and Plaid, at least as far as the Senedd is concerned, are joined at the hip. Keir Starmer has, rightly, refused to devolve youth justice, probation and the Crown Estate to the Senedd, presumably because he recognises the mess ministers have…
The only love affair happening in Wales, is the never ending one between Labour & Plaid Cymru in the Senedd. The only way to stop the 'Clocks' on this relationship is to vote @WelshConserv We will #FixWales at the 'Speed of Sound'.
Senedd expansion must be reversed. We do not need 36 more Senedd members. We need more doctors, nurses and teachers. Since we've had devolution, there's been an assumption that things can only go one way. That once the Senedd gets bigger, we can't go back to how things were…
