Making a film longer doesn’t automatically mean better. A movies runtime depends on the story. F4’s length was perfectly fine. Maybe it could use a few minutes here and there but unlike superman, the pacing works great. Audiences today prefer shorter runtimes anyways!

I walked out of Fantastic Four thinking that it really felt like Reed’s film. My younger brother thought it was 100% Sue’s and my older brother felt like Johnny was the real standout. Really goes to show how well they handled them all.
