Anime gives more audience to a manga but people won't buy it consistently if it's not amazing. The fact that Demon slayer manga sold 9.2 million copies per volume (which is insane) is more than enough to prove that "manga is more than amazing"

Torishima (2025): Demon Slayer only got so popular because the anime was amazing. The manga itself wasn’t all that great.😭 It’s like the manga was just raw coffee beans, and the anime roasted and brewed them into something truly special.🔥
