I’m raising funds to keep our storage unit and everything we own from getting auctioned off and to keep this roof over our heads. If you’re able to donate that would be rad but if you’re not, spreading this far and wide is just as helpful. spotfund.com/story/71768ec4…
Weapons is fantastic. Bigger in scope than Barbarian but a much tighter focus. Cregger makes great use of his ensemble cast and their interconnected stories, and the third act goes off the rails. Full review will be dropping on @CGMagonline in a few weeks. #weaponsmovie
After watching First Steps I wanted to remind you all of this Mr Fantastic moment from issue 60 of the Mark Waid and Mike Wieringo run
They should remake Party Girl (Mayer, 1995) but with Tom Cruise
I’m literally just trying to match the standard set by the rest of the @baltbeat team. One of the most inspiring, talented and hard working crews out there. (But also, thank you 🥺)
I’ve really enjoyed working with @AllNewDom and seeing his reviews just get more and more brilliant and beautiful
i implore everyone to extend this exact idea to tweeting as well. no more quote tweeting to dunk, it’s embarrassing. find the clout some other way. hit the block and move on
Watched a bit of the Mehdi Hasan debates, really think they highlight how useless these debates are. You're not going to convert these freaks, they're not only operating in bad faith, but they're happy to be fascists and just want the platform to say their horrible views

I don’t get the problem with “hopecore Superman fans” at the end of the day they see something good and want to do good in the world that’s great. I can understand not liking your fav to be mischaracterized but is people seeing Supes as simply to be better really a bad thing?
I’m never hated the Tim Story versions, and I even got enjoyment out of Corman’s, but it’s the next day and I still can’t believe how much I liked #FantasticFour . Instantly one of the MCU’s best. (Keep Trank in director jail.) My review for @looper: looper.com/1918937/the-fa…
I want to thank everyone again for all the support and words of encouragement. Yesterday I got just enough to keep the room and I’m insanely grateful for that. But I could still use some funds to get through the next week for food and transpo, if anyone can spare anything small.
Once again, I’m reaching out for some help to make it through until my next check. Anything helps, even if it’s just a share. Thank you for all so much!
I wrote about Eddington for @looper, a movie I liked more the longer I thought on it, but was one of the year’s most insufferable watch experiences while I was in it. looper.com/1915661/edding…
The rest of the goal can wait until Friday, but I absolutely need to raise $750 by tomorrow to pay for the room above all else. I appreciate everyone who has helped so far. Any amount helps!

This is a detail from late in the Morrison/Morales Action Comics run I think people don’t acknowledge enough. When Superman says his true name backwards, he says Le Lak Tnek Kralc, meaning in his mind his true name is Clark Kent Kal-El. He’s not Kryptonian OR Human, he’s both.
We see Clark go from his most grounded, human roots and watch as he then embraces his alien heritage and combines both, allowing Clark Kent Kal-El to transformed into the fully realized Man of Tomorrow
I wrote about #Superman for this week’s issue of @baltbeat. I obviously loved it, in spite of its flaws. baltimorebeat.com/superman-is-co…
