It was more things we already suspected reaffirmed than new things learned today, as Saints drew 1-1 with a more impressive CD Castellon. But there were a few things that stood out, including a Downes/Matsuki/Dibling update, Quarshie's instincts and Sesay involvement. #SaintsFC

Will Still was fairly relaxed and unconcerned about a perceived lack of creativity today, insisting "we'll be ready" for the league. "There will be some comings, there will be some goings," he suggested, but only if it's right. 17 days until Championship starts. #SaintsFC

A couple of good performers but overall not a lot to shout about in attack for Saints today as they played out a 1-1 draw with Spanish Segunda Division CD Castellon, who were the better team on balance of chances by some way. But a good workout again, time is ticking. #SaintsFC

I still can't remember a save made by the opposition goalkeeper in either half today but Robinson's just had a decent chance blocked behind for a corner after he jinked into space in the area. Comes after Kayi Sanda blocked a dangerous shot up the other end. 1-1. #SaintsFC

Defo lacking something in the last third again and transitional play through midfield seems a bit slow. Think we would be having a different discussion if Gavin didn’t keep us in it. Overall decent 45 and mostly happy with what I’m seeing

You can see a team having to unlearn a lot and get used to a new style. The press by archer and wellington has been great. Think BBD has looked alright but Would be nice to the attack attack a bit more. Qaurshie is massive.
