If MLS owners today vote to change to a fall-spring calendar, and in doing so align with the majority of leagues around the world, nobody will be talking about if Messi is playing in the All-Star game tonight. A calendar change has pros/cons. Will the owners vote for the change?
MLS owners could vote today to switch to a fall-to-spring schedule that would align the league with most of global soccer, including the Big Five European leagues. Any move, if approved, would happen no earlier than 2027.
