Music consuming, Villa supporting Brummie now lost to the south. Moan at people for a living. Occasional blogger for Birmingham Mail.
To win a tournament takes incredible mental fortitude. To win one like that, constantly on the verge, is something else entirely. Don’t think England ever played particularly well, yet were deserved winners. Mad. Some achievement!
Great news on Bouba. Lot of angst amongst the fanbase over the summer to date, and whilst I don’t disagree we need to strengthen, it’s easy to forget that what we have already is pretty good. #avfc
Aston Villa Football Club is saddened to learn that world-renowned rockstar and Villan, Ozzy Osbourne has passed away. Growing up in Aston, not far from Villa Park, Ozzy always held a special connection to the club and the community he came from. The thoughts of everyone at…
RIP OZZY. Prince of darkness fr. Can’t even put into words how important this man and his music are.
RIP Ozzy Osbourne. 🕊️ His sad passing this morning comes just weeks after he performed a major farewell concert at Villa Park, where he told fans: "You've no idea how I feel - thank you from the bottom of my heart."
This one was very obviously coming, but it doesn’t stop it meaning so much. RIP Ozzy Osbourne. Just a titanic figure in so many ways. An icon and a legend and Birmingham to the fucking core. Did more for the city than most, just by being himself. Won’t ever be forgotten.
The back 3 solves some problems with Villa’s playing squad (lack of wide options / being able to play with Torres, Mings & Konsa). I can see how it’d suit us. Super reliant on the wing backs though or becomes a back 5 super easily. Interesting to see if we use it more. #avfc
This shouldn’t need saying, but you can only sell players you have buyers for.
Loved this on Pitchfork this morning. I’ve also been a bit obsessed with this 90’s / not quite 90’s sound at the moment. Something I remember very well revitalised by people who were too young to be there. So it’s pastiche but not quite… pitchfork.com/thepitch/the-d…
