Hardboiled urban fantasy with a sharp wit and a whiff of grimdark.
I write Urban Fantasy that blends Raymond Chandler & Joe Abercrombie. But what made me know I wanted to write is this short scifi. I started with a simple thought: what if a road trip story like Stand By Me or Huck Finn was set in space.
Why does every reviewer feel the need to explain how opinions work now? The person who needs that explanation isn’t going to be soothed, and they’re not worth convincing anyway.
You beat someone up by giving them a beat down. You can also knock them around and if you take it far enough, knock them out.
All of @J0hnADouglas talk of Orc City was in my head as I started "sketching" with an iPad sculpting app last night. I suspect this isn’t accurate to his book since I haven’t read it yet. #OrcCity
