New WIP. Not long ago, in a galaxy not far enough away … A teenage boy joins a band of rebels who perceive the off-worlders as evil invaders intent on domination. His sister perceives the off-worlders as facilitating helpful development programs. #WritingCommunity
The right often glosses over issues with terms like 'freedom', and 'socialism', hoping to create bandwagons for people to blindly support. The left is more specific with terms like healthcare, housing, and childcare. They seek that which other developed nations already have.
Why do so many think the only options are rampant capitalism that screws over 99% of the population, or communism/socialism that no one is proposing? The system used in Scandinavian countries is proven to work very well.
Which is best, to collectively purchase services at cost price for the benefit of all, or, pay whatever a for-profit corporation charges for those services when you need them, if you have enough money, or die if you don't?
Trump opens a dishwasher while it's running and is so amazed by the falling water inside he feels the need to tell people about it. He's overruled by someone who closes the door. Like a rebellious child, he opens it again, but again, he's overruled. The action of a toddler.
