A fan page echoing the voice of Alan Watts. Tao, consciousness, the dance of being.
I have realized that the past and future are real illusions, that they exist in the present, which is what there is and all there is.
How many of us now realize that when you look out into infinity you are looking at yourself?
You know we’re in space already, way out.
Try to imagine what it will be like to go to sleep and never wake up... Now try to imagine what it was like to wake up having never gone to sleep.
Alan Watts... man.

“A person who thinks all the time has nothing to think about except thoughts. So, he loses touch with reality and lives in a world of illusions." - Alan Watts gumroad.com/a/288617587/Ax…
Genuine love comes from knowledge, not from a sense of duty or guilt.
We do not 'come into' this world; we come out of it, as leaves from a tree. As the ocean 'waves,' the universe 'peoples.' Every individual is an expression of the whole realm of nature, a unique action of the total universe.
See, this is the real secret of life: to be completely engaged with what you’re doing in the here and now, and instead of calling it work, realize that this is play.
Life is like music for its own sake.
You yourself are the universe which you are observing.
Intellectualization creates a gap or lack of rapport between you and your life. You may think about things so much that you get into the state where you are eating the menu instead of the dinner.
Without birth and death, and without the perpetual transmutation of all the forms of life, the world would be static, rhythm-less, undancing, mummified.
You are an aperture through which the universe is looking at and exploring itself.
When you know that this moment is the Tao, and this moment is considered by itself without past and without future—eternal, neither coming into being nor going out of being — there is nirvana.
