Wishing social media could be an asset and not a liability again…
Does anyone else experience the phenomenon of indirect tribalism when making purchase decisions? As an example, my local coffee shop gives Cholula packets with bagel sandwiches and it makes me more likely to want to eat them, even though I never put Cholula on the bagel. The…
Gentle reminder that I have turned on Tips for my profile. Appreciate you. #SendTips Thanks for all the support, everyone!
It's the weekend, but I'm still here. My family cannot wrap their head around the idea that I'd want to do anything work related on a weekend, so I work after they go to sleep. I'm a decade in the corporate trenches, but still not wired for the 9-5 thing.
If you’re supposed to build in secret, but post everyday to build an audience, then what do you talk about?
Anyone with any degree of competence should be putting ‘NO EMOJIS’ into their system instructions for every model request that writes anything for you. README files, social media posts, articles, anything. Emojis are for cutesy text messages, not professional content.
Oh Adam, you say, you have no experience with presenting, this is all just a ruse to get people to buy your course. I don’t have a course, I teach this stuff to mentees in the promotion process at my company. Also, I’m literally in a room of 50 people presenting a workshop…

Tomorrow is my first day of 75 Hard, I'm traveling for work. I just got back from vacation. In theory, this sounds like the worst time to start doing this. In reality, picking the hardest time to do it is the most rewarding challenge. Doing hard things is a reward in itself.
Question for X: do people in here productize formal mentorship sessions? Or guides on how to be a mentor in a more systematic and focused way? I wonder if people approach mentorship the same way I do, as a focused set of deliverables discussed over several months.
I did 75 Hard in the summer of 2021 and broke my hand on the first day bounding rocks in the James River in downtown Richmond VA. I'm starting it again when I get back from vacation and plan to not break my hand this time. This go 'round, I'm sharing with a different audience.
