Our training last weekend was about recertification in first aid. A couple of days refreshing skills by mixing theory and practice in typical MR scenarios. Thanks to the instructors and volunteer 'casualties', some of the acting was worthy of Oscar nominations! #smr #training

We were called out yesterday evening to locate and assist overdue walkers in the Clachnaben area. The forecast for this coming week is predicting wintry weather. We've already seen some snow in places so please plan accordingly. #volunteers #scottishmr #winter #365daysayear

Last weekend's training 'day' saw us set out up the hill just as darkness was falling. An entertaining and very worthwhile night navigation exercise followed, with a surprise simulated callout thrown in to keep us busy well into the early hours! #smr #volunteers #training
