Latter-Day Saint

The Book of Mormon is Another Testament of Jesus Christ. Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Brigham Young would go on to shape American history. He’s a legend. But at 30, he had no influence, no money, and no direction. His outlook was bleak:
And there it is. . . Christianity in The West. “We built this city.” 🎶
The United States, a nation dominated by Christianity.
I’ve never met a smart, reasonable person who feels threatened by calling Latter-day Saints Christians.
Sounds like the Nephites to me. They were said to have been “white”. And by the end of The Book of Mormon, they were practically extinct. Amazing!!
Here's a good video on evidence of white native Americans that disappeared.. they were described as a very righteous people like the nephites where after Christ came. youtu.be/JMOmkBWisFM?si…
Jesus Christ was on the American continent after His Resurrection. For a more detailed account of this visit from Jesus Christ, read The Book of Mormon.

There are Mesoamerican legends about a bearded, white God. Ancient Americans believed this was true. They also believed that He said He would return one day. When you read the Book of Mormon you will notice that Jesus Christ appears, in white, with beard. Probably nothing.
So it’s nothing? Just a white bearded God who visited and told the people He would one day return? Just an odd coincidence? No, it was Jesus Christ. It’s obvious.
So I pulled up to the church and talked with the missionaries today Told em I left in March, and all of my concerns/criticisms. When I was active, back in December, the previous set of missionaries invited me to the Church to talk with an investigator (Will) — He and I shared…
It’s a theme in Christianity. To be “one” in heart and mind with God. The same applies to marriage. We are commanded to BE ONE with our spouse. It’s a very important analogy, but it’s metaphorical, not literal.
you believe in the trinity, so it makes sense that you dont understand how analogies work.
God is still speaking now. Are you listening?
There’s a lot more “Bible” out there. Sola Scriptura is unbiblical -
Jesus: can create worlds without number. Also Jesus: cannot visit the other side of one of them.
Mormons saying Jesus came to America after His resurrection is no different than saying He also preached in Middle Earth and Narnia, too. The LDS crowd cannot be taken seriously...
The gospel of Jesus Christ transforms lives. It makes bad men good and good men better. All are welcome to come to Christ as they are. But when you do, you won’t stay as you are
If you're someone that identified as athiest but now that you have a family you're missing the peace that the intersection of faith and community brings you should check out the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and give belief in a higher power a chance.
Yes, Jesus Christ visited the American continent. It’s a fact, as far as I’m concerned. He probably visited other places too. He died for all people, not just those in and around Jerusalem. Read about the visit in 3 Nephi 11

One of the things I love about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is its capacity to turn children into the super-soldier equivalent of a functioning adult. Consider the advantages of a typical LDS childhood:
Except divinization (the process of becoming deified) has long been a part of explicit Orthodox Christianity. Nothing strange or odd about it. It's basic theosis. Early Church Fathers talked about it quite a bit. So you're really showcasing your own pretty narrow and stultified…
If you believe God was once a man (let alone that man can achieve divinity), there’s no way you are a Christian.
They keep quoting Galatians. I don’t think it means what they think it means. In fact, if they understood it, they wouldn’t be quoting it. Jesus Christ has a Father. His Father is separate from Him. There is no way around it. The concept of the Trinity is a man-made theory.
If you actually read and understood Galatians 1, you wouldn't cherry-pick that one verse out of context to lie. In verses 1-5, Paul testifies that God the Father and Jesus Christ are separate, divine beings. In verses 6-9, Paul warns against all forms of apostasy, including…
Well look at that !!!
Mormons absolutely believe in Jesus and they commonly live the principles in the Bible in a way I rarely see Catholics or Protestants do. Tithe 10%? Yes. Standard missionary work? Yes. Extremely service oriented? Yes. I'm a baptist, but I really like Mormons.
