In Maui, HI, special agents teach local law enforcement how to test-fire crime guns. Cartridge casings from crime scenes across the country are submitted to the National Integrated Ballistic Information Network, the only interstate automated ballistic imaging network in the U.S.

On July 8th, @ATF_Seattle and the @MosesLakePD Street Crimes Unit seized 5 firearms (one of which was stolen) and 8 ounces of methamphetamine during a federal search warrant. Shawn McLanahan is suspected of trading illegal narcotics for property stolen from local businesses.

On July 8th, ATF and the @MosesLakePD Street Crimes Unit arrested Gabriel Correa, who was later booked on federal drug trafficking charges. Following his arrest, the residential search warrant yielded 10oz of methamphetamine, over an ounce of fentanyl powder, and two firearms.
Last summer, Jennifer Meyer started the fire that burned down the Army Surplus 1 store in Sandpoint, Idaho. On June 16th, 2025, Meyer pleaded guilty to second-degree arson and is now facing 15 years in prison.
K-9 Moby and his handler regularly deploy to support state, local and federal law enforcement agencies across the country. On July 9th, Moby, who is an explosives detection K-9, located a stolen firearm hidden by a shooting suspect in Portland, Oregon.
A certified explosives specialist/bomb technician from @ATF_Seattle responded to Esparto, California, where an explosion occurred at a pyrotechnics facility. ATF's National Response Team was activated for this incident.

Wes, an explosives detection and search enhanced evidence K-9, recovered a casing in Kent, WA, in February of this year. The casing is believed to be tied to a homicide at a local disc golf course. @kentpd is the lead investigating agency.
@ATF_Seattle is assisting @ORStatePolice at a fire scene in Newberg, Oregon. The fire caused severe damage to a wooden train trestle.
