While the lower half should be trained to be both stable and adaptable, it's important to remember that each athlete will find that position in their own way. Different athletes, different solutions. One size doesn’t fit all.
Let athletes explore movement, but guide them within a bandwidth, a “Goldilocks zone.” Not too hot, where failure overwhelms and learning stalls. Not too cold, where success comes too easily. But just right, where there’s enough space to explore, fail forward, adapt, and grow.
