Elchi Cargo fanpage. 22. Tominoid, Gundam fan (ZZ is peak), and mecha enjoyer. I also play fighting games. Tomino women are amazing.
If Elchi has a million fans, then I am one of them. If Elchi has ten fans, then I am one of them. If Elchi has only one fan then that is me. If Elchi has no fans, then that means I am no longer on earth. If the world is against Elchi, then I am against the world.

I get that the fandom is very much tired of negativity but toxic positivity is just as bad imo Imagine if you didn't like a burger or thought it could be better and then a group of people said "oh you're a bad person actually cause you didn't eat the burger right"
I know this intimately because I really love this series esp considering it had a reputation for one of the "worst Gundam series" These days I try to take a more nuanced approach to it, if you like it? That's great and if you don't like it? That's fine too
I still love Gundam ZZ and it means a lot to me when people encourage others to give it a watch and talk about it I think it's only bad if you aggressively defend it in a toxic positive manner if people just simply don't like it
I love ZZ (it’s my 4th favorite Gundam series), but the way some of y’all conduct yourselves around it (either liking or hating it) is getting corny quickly and needs to be wrapped up, lol.
I don't have any sort of caption for this beyond "It's a picture of Swan White"

WHY AREN'T THE GINYUS SHOWING UP? Oh, they're dead.
I been using this image in the most random fucking conversations ever and it cracks me up each time 😭
I agree with this point, and wanna emphasize that a lot of people understand for less popular stuff, people need to start thinking this way for the popular stuff too
A series’s popularity isn’t and should never be held up as a determinant for its quality. People should be encouraged to form their own opinions on media, instead of relying on metrics and other people’s thoughts to justify their experiences.
