Nurse in the Education Team at Farleigh Hospice. Love walking, cycling, gardening & being part of #NHS1000miles
2025 is my fifth year of #NHS1000miles. It's a great incentive to keep active and I love it! Thanks to 'the team' for your company, encouragement & photo's on a Sunday evening 😃

Finished our weekend in Norfolk walking around the Great Broad in both directions! Great to see the bees popping up in Chelmsford for Buzz in the City in aid of Farleigh Hospice. 22miles for #NHS1000miles & YTD 485miles

2025 is proving a slow but steady year for my #NHS1000miles so totals are low but that’s ok. I have recently started swimming again which I’m enjoying. 14miles last week & YTD 509. Loving the wildlife in our garden- mummy hedgehog, hoglet & Jersey Tiger moth.

10miles in glorious sunshine for #NHS1000miles & YTD 495miles.

23miles last week for #NHS1000miles mainly exploring beautiful Wroxham & the surrounding area. YTD 463miles.

Late again to post 17miles for #NHS1000miles & YTD 440miles. I’m always grateful for the benefit and enjoyment activity and nature bring me ☀️

Adding 43miles of #NHS1000miles activity for the last 3weeks & YTD 423miles. Highlights - a swarm of bees in our garden safely rehomed in a local hive, an evening visit to RHS Hyde Hall, and a relaxing stroll in the gardens of Comp Gardens ❤️

I hope you are all enjoying the BH weekend although I’m mindful a good number of team #NHS1000miles could be working. I have thoroughly enjoyed my 50miles of activity this week & am grateful for the opportunities & good weather. YTD 380miles.

Another late post for #NHS1000miles 🙄. 28miles of cycling, commuting & visiting rather than using the car. A weekly total of 35miles & YTD 330miles.

The end of an era as 500 Nightingale Nurses gathered in Lambeth Palace Gardens for the final meeting of the Nightingale Fellowship @bishopSarahM
Week 18 of #NHS1000miles. With life more settled the opportunities to be more active are increasing #patience #family. 10 walking miles & 29 on my bike which is my highest mileage of the year! YTD 274miles

Week 17 of #NHS1000miles. A long awaited, fabulous trip to Liverpool in the company of special friends from nurse training - 35yrs of friendship❤️ 17miles walked exploring & at home. YTD 235miles. High tide at Crosby beach 🤣

It’s great to be back after a dodgy few weeks with a respiratory virus, thankful to have improved and to start notching up some #NHS1000miles. YTD 218miles, much less than this time last year but all active miles are good for health & wellbeing 😀

20miles of cycling & walking this week for #NHS1000miles & YTD 203miles. Also, a very active Saturday cleaning the greenhouse and a delightful stroll at RHS Hyde Hall

My mileage for #NHS1000miles continues to be low but still doing what I can, when I can. Two very active days digging up & replanting plants 🤞they survive & thrive. 13miles/week & YTD 183miles

Nearly forgot to report #NHS1000miles for week 10. Fourteen miles including a welcome cycle commute so YTD 170miles. Can’t wait to get out on my bike more with the arrival of good weather #patience

Loving the sunshine & warmth for #NHS1000mile activities. Highlights for the week - gorgeous snowdrops on the woodland walk at work & a walk with my sister at Knole Park. 30miles so YTD is 156miles

A cold week exploring the musical trails of Leipzig and the city of Berlin. 32miles of walking and a total of 136miles for the year #NHS1000miles

104miles total so far thanks to 19walking & 6cycling miles last week. Onward and upward for #NHS1000miles 😀

A late post but an improved mileage for #NHS1000miles. Very happy to have clocked up 25miles, my first cycle commute of the year, a visit to see lambs being born and a session at the gym. YTD 85miles.

10miles of walking for #NHS1000miles plus my usual weekly Pilates. I’m now taking the stairs at the RLH, climbing up 12 flights is no different to tackling a hill on my bike, just a little bit slower 🤣🤣 YTD 60miles #family
