Forest Hills! Join us on Saturday, June 28 for our FINAL #MetroAve cleanup before summer! We will be meeting at 10am outside @AignerChocolate. See our flier for more details, hope to see you there!

Great joining @poozer87 to discuss end-of-session priorities, including A65 and A66 — to create a statewide supervised visitation program, and eliminate harassment via anonymous calls to the Statewide Central Register. Proud that both passed the Assembly. capitolpressroom.org/2025/06/13/end…
I am thrilled that A.8028 passed the Assembly, this legislation will increase the tax abatement to incentivize building child care centers in NYC, increasing the number of child care slots. Thanks to @NYCMayorsOffice for their partnership & @SenatorPersaud for her leadership

“Youth in foster care deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, not made to transfer all of their belongings in trash bags,” Hevesi said in a statement emailed to The Imprint. “I look forward to Governor Hochul signing this bill into law.” imprintnews.org/top-stories/ny…
Youth in foster care deserve to be treated with dignity & respect, not made to transfer their belongings in trash bags. This legislation, which passed unanimously, will provide luggage to all foster youth. Thank you to Sofie Fashana @TheNext100 for spearheading this initiative
Heartbroken for Yaron Lischinsky, Sarah Lynn Milgrim, and their loved ones. This is a stark reminder that antisemitism is alive, real, and has fatal consequences when left to fester. My thoughts are with the Jewish community in DC, NY and across the globe. washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2025/…
Thank you Nora McCarthy w/ @familypolicynyc for highlighting efforts for a more supportive child welfare system—like my Anti-Harassment in Reporting Act, proposed Child & Family Wellbeing fund, and @TheRealLatriceW's Family Rights Miranda Act among others. nydailynews.com/2025/05/18/big…
Thank you @AnnikaPergament for having me on to discuss my bill to expand @NYC_DOI access to ACS case records. This will strengthen oversight, transparency, and better ensure we're doing everything we can for the safety and wellbeing of our kids. ny1.com/nyc/all-boroug…
Thanks @FHGreenTeam, @AignerChocolate, all of our partners and the volunteers who showed up this beautiful Sunday for our May #MetroAve cleanup. Another great day of community action!

Everyone deserves care, dignity, and compassion, especially when enduring suffering at the end of life. I'm proud to have voted for Medical Aid In Dying and am grateful to @AmyPaulin for advancing this legislation.
In response to a relentless rise in calls to New York state’s child abuse hotline, alongside stark racial disparities, social workers, doctors and teachers are mobilizing to change the law. thecity.nyc/2025/04/28/man…
The vouchers pay the full cost of her child care and have felt like a lifeline, Meikle said. But the threat of their loss has made her feel as though lawmakers are telling parents like her that just “when you feel you’re about to be on the boat, we’re going to cut it.’’
Lawmakers are fighting for millions of dollars to support families across the state of New York at risk of losing access to affordable child care. imprintnews.org/top-stories/pr…
