Today Leif Erickson park received a much needed cleanup. Joint participation with my office , Senator Chan and The World Mission Society Church of God, over 70 volunteers cleaning the park. Park goers thank our efforts, I hope we make the park a little bit cleaner.

Attended HomeCrest Family Wellness Services, an overwhelmingly successful event. Many corporate sponsors showed up. Many seniors and kids enjoy the event and attracted to free cotton candy and ice crème. Thank you Wai Yee Chan, Jayson and HCS for hosting the event.

My staff Hao Zheng, represent me at Chinatown- Myanmar New Year Water Festival. Thank Myanmar Chinese Association of NY - President William Su for hosting this 23rd annual event. Fantastic turnout. Great way to cool down in a hot summer day, by getting wet.

In front of Ginseng Store,the Happy Alliance volunteers and myself were out distributing food. I thank UA3 providing free nutritious fresh produce , it is so vital resources to our seniors who live on fixed income. Great to see happy seniors.

At the Salvation Army- Bensonhurst, we gave out fresh fruits to the elderly. Thank you UA3 provides the food and my several SYEP interns (Summer youth employment program) help out the distribution.

This week, our SYEP interns visited small businesses throughout our community to engage directly with local constituents. They listened to comments, concerns, and suggestions-building relationships and gaining valuable insight into the needs and priorities of the people we serve.
