Saddened to hear of the death of Sir Geoff Palmer - Chancellor & Professor Emeritus @HeriotWattUni Scotland’s first black professor & a real inspiration to very many. He received an honorary degree in 2022 from @UofGlasgow for his work on the reperative justice program.
“We cannot change the past but we can change the consequences of the past” - @SirGeoffPalmer words are a testament to his human rights campaigning spirit. He was a guiding light offering advice and support to many including me. Thinking of his family at this sad time. RIP Geoff
