Mahmoud Jimale is one of 75 children treated for clubfoot this year at SRCS (#BishaCas) physical rehabilitation centres. In 2024, 190+ children received care at Mogadishu, Galkayo & Hargeisa centres,supported by @ICRC. Early treatment is key to a normal, active life.

By mid-year, nearly 16'000 Somali families recently displaced by conflict and located in hard-to-reach areas have received cash from @ICRC to buy food & help resettle. 3'400 farmers also supported to boost/resume planting. Short & long-term help for those who need it the most.

📍Somalia| Together with the Somali Red Crescent Society, we recently supported 12,000 people across 20 displacement camps in the Benadir region with hygiene kits. The kits included jerrycans, sanitary towels, bars of soap, jug, buckets, mosquito nets, & chlorine tabs.

Completed works at the Baidoa Central Prison. Extension of perimeter wall, new toilets and washrooms, shed for access to open air and desludged the septic tank. These meant to improve hygiene and ensure humane conditions of detention for the hundreds of detainees in the facility.
