i know we (I) shit on Base & Jesse a lot but i actually respect him as a person GINORMOUSLY for trying to think different and standing up for his own ideas & views – and doing all this bona fide. i think he brings really good insight & makes us have very valuable conversations
they are linked explicitly as a canonical representation. I hear you that having it be linked through a legal mechanism could tighten that linkage but i do not believe it is zero sum, one way or the other. we are building new systems and they will look different than the old…

Why the hell do people hate Rust as a programming language. To me personally, it's the most logical, safe and ergonomic language I've used. Everything just kinda works.
