Very true! But it's very hard convincing people that though the manufacturer recommends the oil , it's not good for the engine because of climate differences when it comes to the country of origin & our country.
Avoid 0W-20 oils. Many manufacturers are recommending them but they are proving to be more harmful than helpful. The oil thins out too fast in hard driving or extreme conditions such as ours. Stick to 5W-30/5W-40 for your modern cars.
