I love seeing middle-aged people on here shipping Buddie bc I think the people on the show assume the majority of us are young & 'deranged' & I'm not & a lot of you aren't either, we're adults who have never been given the representation Buddie offers & they mean a lot to us ❤️

Moments like this that make me think Eddie already started realizing his feelings for Buck & the writers expect the audience to catch these small moments & know the feelings are mutual based off these looks, & it makes me think we're only getting gay Eddie through Buddie canon.

I think we need jealous Eddie bc what would Eddie even do if Buck had a life outside of him? Buck's put Eddie above everyone he's ever dated & Eddie never even had to think about it bc he knew that their relationship would always come 1st, he's never had to compete for Buck
it's really ass behavior for anyone to act like "gay for pay" is harder acting or 'uncomfortable', like acting is acting no matter what gender you're kissing, if you're uncomfortable you're either homophobic or you're questioning your own sexuality, don't be a dick about it

Nothing they could ever write will give me the high that I would get if Eddie had a secret ex bf from high school & they bumped into him & he asked out Buck & Eddie lost his mind watching Buck 'connect' with his first love & had to deal with jealousy & which one he felt it for.
Season 9 of 911 is giving us Eddie's gay arc, Buck in love with Eddie, Ravi in the regular cast, Chris is home, the captains seat is open for Hen or Chim or to bring back Lucy, I mean it guys, I think we're finally back
Feels like a good time to remind everyone that there were several random women characters in last season, some of which who were even given last names, who had less than 30 seconds of screen time & no real purpose in the plot, & were literally just guests in 1 scene of 1 episode.
If Buck & Eddie had ever really been platonic, they would have acted WAY GAYER by now, real platonic friends jokingly flirt & are physically affectionate in a way they never have been, you only keep the barricades up like they have if you're avoiding 'more than friends' potential
It so clearly should've been Eddie coming out as gay in season 7 & Buck realizing he likes men BECAUSE he likes Eddie, Eddie's never behaved in a way that makes him seem genuine about women while Buck always has, it would've gone over easier with the GA if they had reversed it 😤
it'd be a dumb move to bring Bobby back on Nashville, but also the window for bringing him back closed in the season they killed him, the moment they named the baby after him it closed, it's hard to accept bc his death was done so poorly but it'd be awkward to bring him back now.
Eddie & Chris's birthdays are so close & technically Eddie could've been born a couple weeks before Chris rather than after, but either way he was just a kid😭he only just turned 18 when Shannon got pregnant, & Chris is the only good thing he ever got out of that tragic backstory
Specifically, he was born Sept 92 - Dec 92, and most likely, he was born in Sept or Oct. So when they say "he was 19" they mean "he was a few weeks away from his 19th birthday".
1 scene of Chris out with a friend & Eddie & Buck are there to bring him something or pick him up & Chris addresses them & the friend goes "Oh Buck, your other dad!" & Buck cries, just 1 scene 🙏
Buck gets dumped because of Eddie again & this time he tells Eddie about it & decides they should kiss so that next time someone he dates questions their relationship he has proof that they tried it & it's "not a thing", but instead they kiss & Eddie won't stop kissing him.
Thinking Buck was aware of his feelings for Eddie in the finale & in the premiere it's been months & he's been sitting with it thinking Eddie's not an option but by the end of 9x01 Eddie's romantic feelings for Buck will be made clear to the audience even if he hasn't said it yet
I think they should put Eddie in Hen & Chim's duo & Ravi in Buck & Maddie's duo, not only showing what real bestie/sibling relationships look like contrasting the Buddie relationship being romantic, but also making Ravi an honorary Buckley sibling, bc these trios would be chaotic
