User feedback: when I tried offramping USDC into CAD, it ended up being cheaper to use a CEX than to swap into CADC and offramp. it wasn't even a large amount. while stablecoins will eventually outcompete legacy systems, it still has a long way to go!
The most cost efficient off ramp to CAD I could find is USDC -> ACH USD -> Wise -> Swap to CAD in Wise -> Canadian bank account. All steps are 0 cost except the fx conversion. We’ve got a long way to go to simplify this.
