இந்தியாவிலிருந்து திருடப்பட்ட கலைப் பொருட்கள் மற்றும் தொல்பொருட்களை மீண்டும் நாட்டிற்குக் கொண்டு வருவதற்கு தேசிய ஜனநாயகக் கூட்டணி அரசு ஏராளமான முயற்சிகளை எடுத்துள்ளது.

சோழர்கால கட்டிடக்கலை தனித்துவம் வாய்ந்தது. அக்கால பேரரசர்களின் தொலைநோக்குப் பார்வையும் அதே அளவு பாராட்டத்தக்கது.

A memorable day in Tamil Nadu, dedicated to the great Chola culture! Here are the highlights…

சோழர்களின் சிறப்புகளை வரும் தலைமுறையினர் அவசியம் அறிந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும். கங்கைகொண்ட சோழபுரத்தில் இன்று நடைபெற்ற நிகழ்ச்சி, இந்த நோக்கத்துடன் ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டிருந்த ஒரு முயற்சியாகும்.

கங்கைகொண்ட சோழபுரத்தின் பிரகதீஸ்வரர் ஆலையத்தில் பிரார்த்தனை செய்தேன். சோழகால பக்தியின் சிறந்த வெளிப்பாடுகளில் ஒன்றான இது, ஒரு சிறந்த ஆன்மீக அனுபவமாக இருந்தது. இந்திய மக்களின் செழிப்பு மற்றும் நல்வாழ்வுக்காக நான் பிரார்த்தனை செய்தேன்.

The great Cholas inspire us to make our nation strong and further the spirit of unity.

The NDA Government has made many efforts to bring back stolen artefacts and antiquities.

Chola architecture is exceptional. Equally commendable was their vision.

Be it inculcating a democratic spirit or water conservation, trade or ecological preservation, the Cholas were ahead of their time.

It is important that the coming generations know about the greatness of the Cholas. Today’s programme in Gangaikonda Cholapuram was an endeavour in this direction.

Prayed at the Brihadisvara Temple, Gangaikonda Cholapuram. It was a deeply spiritual experience at one of India’s finest expressions of Chola devotion. I prayed for the prosperity and well-being of the people of India.

தமிழர் வரலாறு, கலாச்சாரம், ஆன்மீகச் சிறப்பு ஆகியவற்றின் மகத்துவத்தை வெளிப்படுத்தும் ‘சைவ சித்தாந்தமும், சோழர்களின் கோயில் கலைகளும்’ என்ற மிகச் சிறந்த கண்காட்சியைப் பார்வையிட்டேன்.

Witnessed a very good exhibition, ‘Shaiva Siddhanta & Chola Temple Arts’, which showcases the greatness of Tamil history, culture and spiritual greatness.

Overwhelmed by the affection shown by my sisters and brothers of Tiruchirappalli earlier this morning! We will always work for their well-being and ensure this great city scales new heights of progress.
